Couldn't understand name of company even though I asked him to repeat it. However very pleasant man calling about an incident report he'd received concerning an accident I'd been involved in. Told him I hadn't. He politely queried it, but I said I hadn't and was continually getting this type of call - he apologised and said he'd mark my number "not to call"
It is the number WhatsApp uses for certification and it is also useful if you need to reinstall the app or change phone. Got called today by a female with a Scouse voice stating that she was form "Fresh Contacts" and asking if I am been in an accident. Funnily enough (and the truth, but may use this excuse even so if it changes for me) I don t drive, so I told her this and then she proceeded to ask if I had been a passenger in an accident or if I had been on public transport. None of this was true, these are scam calls, she mentioned that my details were on the "National Accident Database", which may I add- does not exist. Bl

this scam involves getting access to a persons computer controlling it and it works and is quite easy to perform the scammers use log me in rescue a tool used by guienune support companies but use it to gain access to your personal files they then download a FAKE ANTIVIRUS and tell you that the problem has been solved then they will bring you to a site where youl be asked to put your bank card details and various other personal details which they have no business of knowing in to the boxes then they hang up
