SCAM Derek in a foreign voice from 'Virgin Media' calling about our slow internet connection over WiFi. We have 6 devices connected to it. He wanted me to use my mobile to download an app on play store called Quicksupport and he had a code ready to put in once downloaded. I did not do it and ended the call.

Fraud received text to say that I have authorised Mr Jones payment £240.00, checking with this site shows the text was from Russia and I don't know any one there and I have not authorised any payment to anyone therefore be careful of these scam.
They ring up every week asking if you?ve updated your gas and electric meters to smart meters. I have with another company but if I say that they go on to ask about who it?s with etc. Don?t know about trustworthiness or not because I?ve never heard of their company other than them calling me. I tell them I?m not interested and they still call. Now I just hang up. Bank Scammers. Telling me that £600 had been sent abroad from my Debit card. If I sent the money, press 2, if i Did not send the money, press 1. I put down the phone, went to my local bank and asked them to check. No money had been taken or removed or sent. Dangerous for someone who gets involved speaking to these scum.

This call from 01332 341484 made a threat of a warrant from HMRC and failure to press 1 would result in the warrant being issued.
