I had these stickers on my door a few weeks ago and removed them. Now they?ve come back again and struck a similar looking sticker with the number 07932961616 which is the number of Cricklewood Locksmiths who are known for this kind of advertising and there have been news reports about them in the past.

This appears to be a scam to obtain credit card details for illegal purposes. We called the number and was immediately asked for our credit card number, but NOT WHICH CREDIT CARD NUMBER, which raises concern over legitimacy, as we have several cards, so which one would we use?

Apparently it s a research firm that does recruitment??? Rang the number back. Person who answered just said hello. Didin t give a company name until I asked, but I couldn t understand her accent anyway.

When I refused to tell the man if I was a home owner or a tenant, he asked me to stop wasting his time and tell me if I was F...ING interested. I know many people who will no longer answer their landline unless they recognise the callers number. It is businesses like IJT, boiler-room scams and PPI Claim companies who have changed the telephone from a useful tool and friend into a nuisance ridden pain in the arse. Well done everyone!
