They said their number was 02032867657. They tried to get me to run something on my computer but I declined. They asked me to run something else to confirm my customer number and I declined again. They said if I didn't comply there'd be a court action against me but I still declined. When they rang off I rang BT straightaway and they confirmed it was not them and they said they would never ask for such a thing.

I asked him if he was sure he was from Amazon and not Orinoco, Congo, Limpopo or some other river. But he didn’t seem to see the joke.
