Claims to be Eco Direct about loft insulation. Caller said that the company was based in New Zealand, but companies with this name have been compulsorily wound up some years ago on both New Zealand and UK Company Registry Offices. See 01634 775619
Pre-recorded message claiming to be from BT but not sure why a British company would use someone ( or voice generation software) with a mid-Atlantic accent to deliver a message to a UK-based customer. Some rubbish about disconnecting my Internet if I don t follow instructions which, undoubtedly, would involve me in racking-up a huge phone bill, i.e. if press either 1 or 2 as instructed. I hung-up. A variation on the SCAM calls from India about problems with internet account.

PPI company. I asked them to stop calling me. The caller proceeded to argue with me as she said that she has never called me before. I have reported to information commissioner.

Dopo ti chiedono di accedere al tuo account bancario per poterti inviare questi soldi che avevi in un conto di trading online. A me hanno detto che avevo 0,69 Bitcoin, vale a dire circa 13.000 euro. NESSUNO TI CERCA PER RESTITUIRTI DEI SOLDI !!!! Sono dei truffatori e basta. Non vi lasciate ingannare.
PPI. They said it was called HELP YOUR CLAIM. I asked to speak to the manager and told them that my phone was registered to not receive cold calls, and asked them where they got my number from. They asked for my email address so they could let me know where they obtained my number from. I refused to give it, as next thing they will be sending me emails too. at this point a misdial from a local number, in which case no harm done I don't use my landline except for internet connections and never answer it if it rings. If this number rings again I will block the number. If it was someone I knew they would have my mobile number and know to use it.
