My mother-in-law has just found a charge for ?99.99 on her Barclays statement. I ve just spoken to the bank and they have been 100% helpful and have agreed to refund her ASAP. When mum-in-law initialy went into the bank to query the transaction they told her that it was a holiday company and assisted her to call them. The company told her that they take the view that unless you specifically say otherwise they assume that you want thier services, even though the in-laws had no knowledge of the company. T

Missed call from this number

Just want to find out who called me has been calling me for a week straight asking me if I m who I am and if I m over 18?

Surely to goodness someone, somewhere, has got to put a stop to this. Who is paying for all these claims? Us, in our high insurance costs of course. It is pissing me off, big time. Stop phoning me - I was not hurt, but it is getting to the point where perhaps I should claim just to stop these calls. Two bleeding years I have been fending off these damned nuisance calls.

Person called Jack Wells called my elderly parents and tried to sell them a plug in box to stop unwanted phone calls. He had the correct details for them and their address! He asked for all bank details, sort code, acc. number and a password. Luckily they are not that stupid!!

The same company has been call blocked on at least 20 different numbers, they keep changing numbers every few days, when i get through to one of them and tell them to take me off their calling list they are rude and hang up, scum of the earth! Company needs heavily fining!

Was a little Suspicious at first but Kish has been a great help, Scottish power were still charging me a deemed rate after coming over from Extra Energy, Kish managed to get me a good rate and a backdate! Would recommend you get in touch if he hasn t already!

Cold called asking for my boss by name and if we had ISO 9001. Wanted to know if we would consider paying them good money for a willy-waving number to be put on our letterhead.

Received a voicemail on our landline that we should return the call on 02032899210 as someone in the house was being investigated by HMRC Did not return the call.

called on me on mobile asking my name and address and saying that I had been in an accident over the last year (I haven t) I laughed at the caller, told her I don t drive (which I don t)and don t have a car (which I don t). I suspect it s a fishing exercise to gather info we may seem to think is harmless but gives clues to passwords bank details and so on the first question was who do I bank with and do I bank online I am deeply suspicious of anyone asking about any of my financial details unsolicited as banks don t call asking my details so no-one else should either
