Called with a thick asian accent claiming to be Janet from Virgin and calling about an issue with the router. They asked me to tell them the colour on the router and then input a web address. I guessed immediately that this was a scam but decided to lead them on a little. After a couple of minutes 'Janet' realised that I knew this was a scam and launched into a tirade of verbal abuse swearing and threatening to come and stab me before then hanging up!
Several phone calls from this number... different reasons given. Now blocked

Tell them you want to buy something, put the phone on a table and get on with your day, washing dishes, reading the paper, listening to the radio, say something every now and again to keep them there, waste their time, waste their money, keep em hangin on. I had a financial review meeting booked via Cpr. I found the whole process to be very good. The appointment was booked and confirmed by Cpr then the advisor. Will full FCA authorisation. Giving me all the information I needed to check the firm out before the meeting. The advisor has sorted out my old pensions, poor performing investments and sorted out I seriously underinsured, in relation to my mortgage, something I would never have known. Very worthwhile. 100% not a nuisance call or scam
