I received a call from a chap who called himself Brady, from the Nuisance Calls Prevention Service in Brighton at 6.05pm on 26th February 2015. He told me that he was aware that I was receiving a high ratio of nuisance calls and that he was going to stop them for me... all good up to this point! He then went on to say that for ?2 per month the calls would be stopped!!!! Definitely a scammer, but what worries me is that he knew my name and ex-directory telephone number.

The company is known as go4ukloans , they call you to tell you that you have been approved for loan that does not exist as they are not loan company but bunch of people who scam people to take money of them. They will ask you to make the first payment of your loan for the loan to be sent in your bank. Don t believe them. Don t send them any money !!

Yes, they are still operating and looks like they are having a New Year hunt for more people to con, as several friends have had calls from them over the past few days. I take great delight in stringing them along for as long as possible, listening to them get more and more frustrated as I keep asking questions about their blocking box . I received a call from a man with a very strong accent claiming to be from BT to help speed up our broadband. The fact that he greeted me saying ?hi I?m Martin? then 5 minutes later told me his name was John Wilson, was a huge red flag. I can confirm that this is a scam call number as I called the real BT to confirm the number was not affiliated with them. Do not give out any information or allow these scammers access to your computer!
