I have just had a call from a lady from 01704 222222 claiming to work for Albany Assist and wanting to talk to me about the non fault accident I have had in the last two and a half years. I told her I hadn’t had one and the call ended. Reported to the real Albany Assist as per the request in this thread. Interesting that if you call the number back no one answers. Caller was a scouse female.

Just another caller who doesn’t leave a message.

Just had a call much the same as all above - the Indian sounding caller only new my name and number and would not answer any of my questions and I certainly gave no information to him I live in Hampshire so immediately called Hampshire police on 101 who said contact Action Fraud on 0300 1232040 (www.actionfraud.police.uk) who asked that I report it to Insurance Fraud on 0800 4220421 - which I did

The latest call received. From 0843 866 5716. rings then cuts off. Every time I get one I block it. Sick of this irritant

Received several late night calls from this number. Answered once, no-one spoke but I could hear a lot of background noise - voices etc.

Cold caller. Briefly heard office noise then they cut off.

Twice received calls from this number,but did not reach phone in time. When attempting to call back I was informed that the number had not been recognised.

Fraud fraud fraud. Do not call back on this number or give any details. My elderly parents received a call this morning. Lucky I was around and he claimed he was calling from virgin media in London. I then asked if he knew English and he said no. From here I released something ain t right. I immediately googled the number he gave and read the previous comment. If u are called do not take this seriously.

It s Carphone Warehouse Customer Services. They were responding to an issue I had raised with them.

Didn t recognise the number, so didn t answer, caller left no message. If it was a genuine call they they would have, wouldn t they, so probably a junk call.

I ve blocked this number as I am sick of them phoning me if I want to ask VIRGIN MEDIA anything I will ontact them

N had about sixteen calls in one morning don t answer fone now.

This number keeps calling my phone, When you answer its all quiet then voice recording says Good Bye.

They just phoned my elderly father-in-law on his land line and luckily my husband had just arrived at the house when they phoned. They told him that they were the National Crime Agency and that there had been fraud on his bank account. Keeps on calling me even though I m not answering. No voicemail left. I answered once and could hear noise like a call centre. It s really annoying now and I blocked but they phoned from another number which is similar with just digits at the end different.
