Almost certainly SPAM/SCAM as it called at the usual parasites'/pests' evening time, in this case 6.30pm. There was a suspicious pause & silence (auto-dialler?) when I answered and then the call was disconnected. They say they can do me an IPhone 13 for £10 less than the deal I have at the moment on an IPhone 12. Never trust a cold call... Sounded like a call centre of some sort as noise in background. Could have easily been from abroad as the womans english wasnt great and the call went silent after she had spoken. anyway...
I was contacted by this number. A recorded message saying that £300 had been taken from my card for £300 to Amazon and also £1100 to another supplier I do not deal with. As usual with these calls I was asked to press different number. I immediately hung up and checked my accounts. to find nothing had been taken.

Completely agree with the other review. There's no reason for me to be called from England. I WOULD ADVISE NOT TO CALL THIS NUMBER BACK, as the number showed as possible fraud. There have been accounts of people calling a number like this back and getting charged a lot of money.

Automated call stating that £300 & £1,100 had been taken from my card. “Press 1 to cancel”. I pressed 1 to try and find out who was calling. Was told by a guy with a foreign accent that the call was from London Paddington. He asked the reason for my call and then asked for my full name. At that point I put down the phone and registered this number. Obviously this was a fraudulent call.

Santander left a voice mail, which I thought was a little bit suspicious, as I have never heard or had a bank leave any kind of voice mail. So I rang the official phone number that is on the back of my card and after being on hold for nearly an hour they eventually answered and apparently they had nothing written on my account about anyone who tried to contact me and left a message. Someone from the fraud department will be contacting me, so I will find out if this number is legit or if they are scammers
