At first I got quite scared when I started getting these calls. I have read a lot about telephone scams where they want to extract your financial data (Net banking PIN, Credit card details etc.) in the name of survey. For this reason I started declining calls from this number. Had this number, 01619390228 call me a few times recently, they don t let the phone ring very long, have never left a voice message and on trying to call the number I get an engaged tone, will try to get to my phone quicker next time to answer, reckon it s a scam call, shouldn t be allowed !! They now have a new number - 0800 4 11 88 99. Like many others I took out 3 years cover on a machine I no longer have. Tried cancelling over the phone but was informed I had to write in to obtain a refund. Did that a week ago but no confirmation of received so I tried phoning several times this morning but after seven minutes a voice says "Goodbye" and the call terminates. Judging from the ringing it is on a hunt group but nobody picks up. Looks like CAB is the next stop.
