Called me and asked to speak to [my name]. I asked who they were, gave company name. Started trying to small talk with me so I asked the reason for the call. He then said "We re calling because of some information we ve been pass-" and then he hung up on me. Presumably he knew I couldn t be fleeced!

Got a call from this number on my mobile. Said I d been in an accident. No I haven t. I reckon they just dial numbers at random. I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else. They didn t even know my name or where I was from or where the accident happened or what car I was supposed to have been driving or what time of day or the date it was supposed to have happened. Several calls from an Asian woman claiming to work for mobiles.co.uk offering too good a deal to be true, she didn’t speak English well enough to be genuine. She then sent me an email which looked fake.

Automated call. Almost convincing there was a human at the other end except for the long pauses between sentences & the inability to engage in conversation when you speak back at it. No doubt it understands Fcuk off as I put the phone down. haha. Blocked for future. Some scam about insulation. .
