Cold call. Told the woman that she should not be calling as I subscribe to telephone pref service. This objection swept aside. Claimed to be from Microsoft and that my computer has been hacked. Became more forceful as I voiced suspicions. I ended call.
Spam call about first page listings on Google, when I explained we were already on the first page for the search value he was offering he actually had the gall to argue with me about it. Liar and scammer. Don't waste your time picking up. Also who in their right mind calls a business to speak to the owner and is hesitant when you ask for a reason why to give you one? My mother-in-law has just found a charge for ?99.99 on her Barclays statement. I ve just spoken to the bank and they have been 100% helpful and have agreed to refund her ASAP. When mum-in-law initialy went into the bank to query the transaction they told her that it was a holiday company and assisted her to call them. The company told her that they take the view that unless you specifically say otherwise they assume that you want thier services, even though the in-laws had no knowledge of the company. T
