This number 0131287730809 identifies it as Amazon Prime Membership renewal. It then offers 'press one' to cancel the membership. I use Amazon, but I'm not a Prime member so I pressed one to cancel. A foreign gentleman answered and I told him that I hadn't joined Prime and to return my money. I received a pre-recorded message from this number claiming that an unauthorized payment has been taken from my Amazon account and that an unauthorized international transfer has taken place from my bank account. I believe this to be a SCAM so, beware!!

Many have been missed calls and the rest I let ring out. I rang back and they all have had an answering machine with the same female voice putting me in a queue and at no point saying who they are. Back again, they phoned my mobile yesterday and today my landline. Local garage had my contact numbers 2 years ago when I bought a car. In the past has just been postal advertising. The number is in Runcorn so misrepresentation of fact! Answered the phone with what are you selling, told them not to phone again as I don t want to buy a car. Must be a call centre in Runcorn, annoyed that local garage has sold or is using contact details for reasons beyond the original sale!!!

Very well spoken male gave his name as Christian informed me my washing machine insurence had expired and he was calling with regard to me renewing it. I was suspicious of this and asked the name of his company which he informed me was White Goods UK. As I have never heard of them I asked which washing machine and he said theBosch. As mine is a Hotpoint I knew he was a scam or fraud. He then tried banter before resulting to cheek when the word police was mentioned I hung up before he could get offensive
