After delivery of appliance from A.O.com I keep receiving calls from this number several times a day. I had guessed it would be them as I ve not had any unknown numbers on my phone until this order. Like others have commented, if I wanted to buy extended cover I would ask for it myself. Disappointed with this type of sales calls.

Asked for Mrs XXX, based on name in phonebook. Mrs XXX doesn t exist as I, Mr XXX s wife, have never used his surname and we ve used this number for 18 years. Claimed to be from a local building firm calling about our roof. We live in a block of flats. When I challenged caller about our number being registered with TPS he got angry and eventually hung up.

Automated debt relief call - I hung up too soon to find out the name of the company. I ve no patience for this rubbish. I, too, am TPS registered - and my details are not listed on the version of the electoral register available for purchase, either. I suppose this shows how much good either does in preventing junk calls. I keep my landline unplugged when not in use as I receive so many PPI calls on that!

I received a call from this number just now. He said he was from a company called Technical Help Service and told me my computer had a virus. He tried to convince me using various methods including running the eventvwr (the errors listed there are not related to viruses!) This is identical to the well known Windows Technical Helpdesk scam. Some policy review company. They are very rude. Have been calling every day for the last how many weeks. Keep telling them to remove me from their database and they just hang up and then ring the next day!!!
