Caller stated that he was calling regarding my BT Broadband being faulty (I am with Virgin). So another scam

yesterday i was looking to move broadband providers and entered my phone number on EE site. I did not g give them permission to call me!

Called twice with 2 different stories of who they were.!? I put phone down as probably a scam

Louise wanted to send me a PPI pack. When I said I had already applied and had found I was entitled to 5p, she asked when. I said 6 months ago. She said I was upto date, thanked me and wished me a good day then rang off. Polite but still cold caller that is now blocked.

4 minutes ago they are an abosolute con!! I had a call from them the other day where they were saying to me that i have been mis-sold ppi, but when i asked do you have any of my information they say no, and that i would have to provide any records of accounts ive had over the years such as credit cards, loans, car finances mortgages and so on? which made me very nervous as you would think they would have this information in the first place to ring you up, not only did they want all that information they wa

Probably an insurance policy sales pitch I have insurance with DampG but never contact them by phone So it may be a scam

This is a loan broker - They actually did leave me a message which I appreciated. And I did make an enquiry about a loan so I have no issue with the way this company works. I didn t speak to them, just ignored the call as usual but listened to the message and the person didn t really sound like a blood thirsty sales man. Interestingly since making the enquiry - I have received well over 50 calls and this is the first to leave a message and the number was not unknown when they called.

Female caller said I d had a bump 3 years ago according to their records which had come up on my insurance renewal. Load of rubbish - I ve not had an accident for over 20 years! Told her this and she just went "oh" so I hung up. Would have liked to see where this was going (their phone bill, not mine!) but I didn t have the time.

I only called "Studio" cards, as the online ordering is conveniently STILL stopping orders being placed using the website (the continue opetion after selecting payment option DOES NOT WORK. STUDIO website claims they only charge 13p/min and average call is 68p (maybe so IF you aren t kept ON HOLD for almost 7 mins - I didn t wait any longer just to be billed up to the eyeballs to place a phone because the website is deliberately blocked from working!). Holly Baldwin, Silvershine Services called my mobile today, asking about the accident I had just had. Asked where she got my number she said Road Traffic Accident Department which obviously is twaddle, or there own internal RTA department. When pressed repeatedly about the department she put the phone down. Shame, I was just getting warmed up.
