Automated call A number that shows up as a local call on my landline (without prefix)..However, it is followed by the well-known 7 bleeps and a pre-recorded message saying "Thank you for calling". I have received hundreds of calls of this type from numbers all over the country. Why it seems to be impossible to put a stop to the company that is responsible for these nuisance calls is something I simply do not understand.
I was contacted by this number. A recorded message saying that £300 had been taken from my card for £300 to Amazon and also £1100 to another supplier I do not deal with. As usual with these calls I was asked to press different number. I immediately hung up and checked my accounts. to find nothing had been taken.

I told him I did not have a visa debit card and asked him to explain further. He hung up. Please be aware never to give any bank details out over the phone. A man called who said he was Vodafone and then EE and offered me an outrageous deal of essentially free minutes, free data and free texts for £6 per month. I checked the vodafone website and the closest deal was £33. I suspect that this is a scam and will report.

This phone number along with multiple other UK numbers call my Canadian phone number HUNDREDS of times throughout the day for someone I don't know. They refuse to stop calling me.
