They phoned & asked to speak to my partner by his first name, I asked who was calling & she muttered something marketing & asked "how are you today" I said fine thanks and she then said "I didnt ask you anything goodbye" and hung up. Number now blocked!

scam phone call, from a man who claimed he was ‘calling about loft insulation that had previously been installed’ and went on to say that they ‘needed to visit to do a free inspection for damp and mould’. when I told them I have never had loft installation installed they hung up. Fraud saying they were a national investigation/security agency and my national insurance number was suspended because of suspected illegal activity at which point I hung up because that kind of thing doesn't happen especially from a mobile number. If I went on I would suspect they would ask for private secure details to sort it out.
