I was called by this number this morning. They told me they were calling regarding my licence from MICROSOFT being lapsed. They told me they would be able to renew my licence and could show me how to remove hackers from my laptop. I allowed these people access to my laptop thinking I was removing the hackers and viruses from the laptop. They gained access to my files and I have had money removed from my bank account (now closed).

just received a letter from the DWP requesting bank details so they can pay my pension into it instead of the post office.if this is a scam, it's a b****y clever, very convincing one. it was accompanied by a letter in the same post from the post office telling me I could close my card account with them free of penalty, though it's not the type of a/c that incurs penalties. the letter even quotes my national insurance number at the top. very clever of two big organisations to hit the same postal delivery tog

Not unsolicited as I had already signed up to the. The lies and ignorance of what is happening need to be countered. People worry about the risks of leaving if they stopped and thought they would realise the risks of remaining are even greater. Too may of the younger generation believe everything they are told and don't think for themselves. We've had numerous scam calls in one day (from this number and others all in a short period) claiming to be from various utilities or directory listing companies trying to get details from our company about providers and meters, etc. One man used profanities at me and another shouted and both hung up when I confronted them.

Got a call from this number telling me I had to register my electricity meter. When I asked why, I was told it was because I had recently moved in. Again, I asked why I should need to register my meter and at this point the caller just hung up. Sounds very much like a scam of some sort.
