Has regularly called each day for some weeks but never leaves a voicemail. I never take 08 calls as I feel they re notorious for belonging to folks looking to do some sort of business or wanting to make money from me in some way - I shall be the one to choose who I engage and intend to pay for ANY service, and not the person who happens to come across my number somehow. Accident claims experts ...according to their records I had a road accident 2 years ago which left me unable to work!?! Told them I hadn t but if they insist on numerous phone calls to tell me then feel free to send me the compo cheque as I could do with the dosh, at which point they became quite abusive and hung up. I phoned them back gave them a mouthful and told them to take my number off their system which they said they had done. 14 calls in 3 weeks off these muppets so I ve blocked them on this numbe

Just spoken to O2 regarding this number and the calls my wife had been getting. They confirmed that the number does belong to O2 and is not a scam, it is their Customer Research (for want of a better description) calling to ensure she was getting the right deal for her and to see if she wanted to upgrade, so I suppose they re Market Research/Sales. Perfectly safe to answer. If in doubt, just don t give answers to questions you feel uncomfortable about.
