Called and asked about a car accident I d supposedly had - as soon as I asked how they knew I was in an accident, they claimed my details were included on a National register of car accidents . I said this was simply not possible, and demanded to know where they had gotten my contact details from and they hung up immediately. Two weeks later, another call. Recorded message claiming we were the object of a law suit from HMRC. Asked to press 1 to return call. Obviously ignored it. NB: Selected "Unknown" for "Type of call / reason for calling" as none of the options matched the nature of the call.

Asked me to give six number code sent to me in SMS from Amazon - This was my two step verification code to change my password. All they need to get this sent to you is your Amazon account linked phone number. I did of course refuse.
