Accident that I never had. Fed up of these calls.

I received a call from a man with a very strong accent claiming to be from BT to help speed up our broadband. The fact that he greeted me saying ?hi I?m Martin? then 5 minutes later told me his name was John Wilson, was a huge red flag. I can confirm that this is a scam call number as I called the real BT to confirm the number was not affiliated with them. Do not give out any information or allow these scammers access to your computer!

ASIAN MAN WANTED TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF WASHING MACHINE I OWNED. ALSO NAME &POSTCODE. HE TOLD ME HE WAS PHONING FROM A TELEMARKETING COMPANY CALLED Q2SERVICES. IT IS IN INDIA.

I just had this number call,line went dead after a few seconds listening but not speaking.

Claim to be a legal department for insurance company wanting to know about a collision you were involved in. As soon as you challenge them, asking for dates or location they hang up.

Company wanting to renew the call blocking services you never knew you had (and, of course, confirm your bank details).

Left long message on answering mach. Serious law suit against me unless I rang. Robotic voice, Americanized pronunciation & legal phrases. Did not specify name of myself or partner. Again Jennifer Coleman from HMRC. They would write to named person, cause of action letter, would never leave message as don t know who would pick up. Could scare people into ringing them back. Ppi credit agent, told not interested 5 times, still continue to ask if I have had any texts or voicemails when asked what s it to do with them they get angry an then say well have you checked your credit file, when told one last time I m not interested the woman said fine an hung up Don t waste time answering to them

I get at least one call a week from this number - it is very annoying. Luckily I normally miss the calls, so don't bother returning them

A man called my telephone to ask me to access my computer so he can fix the issue with the internet connection. I had not reported a fault, he was not calling from my provider and used a wrong mame for me. So, I hung up. The following day I discovered that the internet connection on my son s laptop had indeed been disabled! He must have visited a dodgy website but it is worrying that they could retrieve my telephone number from it.

I ve have several silent calls from these idiots.

This is a new, and weird, one for me. Called my landline but disconnected when I picked up (now they know this is a live number,,,damn!!). No message left so I'll never know if I have been left millions of pounds from an unknown benefactor who needs me to handle his money, for a small fee, to help them evade paying local taxes or being claimed by a fictional Government department.

Called but hung up as soon as I answered

Caller rang but left no message, it wasn t in my contacts so didn t answer. After reading these comments, number now blocked. Thank you to previous people on here
