The paid money then goes into a fraudulently opened bank account. It can be evidenced that they also steal peoples identities to open bank accounts and to advertise apartments to rent as described above.

Missed call - I have had 3 calls in one day - all from Northern Island but all different numbers: 02893535035 and 02894106936 and 02877079126. I don't know anyone from this area and they have not left a message. I have never had calls from this area previously, let alone 3 on the same day.

Called today 21.07.23, Indian sounding call centre claimed they could save me 30% of my O2 bill, I am not with O2, and when I asked where they found my number they said it was from a generated call list. I don’t answer unknown numbers so I don’t know who this is. However, I did block a similar number a few days ago when I was expecting a call from a doctor and accidentally answered an unknown number. It sounded like a young-ish black man and I told him I wasn’t interested in what he was selling. Then I blocked the number. This is a very similar number.
