SCAM Had these people phone me up on another number pretending to be the national crime agency, using an automated message. When rumbled and blocked they tried again using this number to pretend to be an insurance broker, again using the same tactics with an automated message which made it obvious that it was the same people. Do not trust, just block them.

This number called today and I didn t have time to Google it before answering. Said they were from American Express, only asked for half my postcode and they knew the type of card I held and how long I have had it. He was trying to sell an identity/credit rating protection (Platinum protect plus I believe). He was polite, when I said I wasn t interested he was pleasant. No company has sent me a letter re need for payment, the 1 company it could?ve been doesn?t use capquest so I assume they are chasing a statute barred debt again. I answered this all on my mobile and they hung up immediately so I rang from a land line and was told by an automatic message that I had won vouchers and/or and Ipad.
