This is a PPI scam. Best to listen politely and show interest before requesting that they ring you back on another number. Then give them the number of another known scammer and they should keep one another amused for a while. Suggested numbers of known scammers:- 01935 350190 and 01379 844163. Both these numbers have repeatedly rung me recently.

Alledged call from Amazon saying my prime was due for automatic renewal and they would be taking out £39.99 from my account and to press 1 if I wish to cancel the subscription.
