Buy a CPR callblocker - stops them dead and they can't call again. It has a big red button for blocking calls and you can programme in over 1000 numbers.

The number called me during the week but did not respond when I gave my phone number?

Got about 10 calls from this number in a matter of 5 mins, I did not answer as was working and it went to answerphone cut off and they repeatedly called again, tried to call it back in case it was to do with work but it would not connect

Have been receiving from this number every 2 to 3 days - they are pests - have installed a Call blacklist app for my mobile - works well

Knew it was a scam because I didnt recognize the number so didn t answer, it went to answer phone and they didn t leave a message.

This number has called me everyday since Friday twice a day with the exact same voicemail. I answered it earlier today and they knew my name? I ended the call straight away. But...

I answered the call, just got background noise/voices/laughter

Six times in a week this number has called and as I am on holiday I am charged to answer UK calls and answerphone. It must be an automatic dialer as any sane person would recognise a foreign ringtone.

Obtained my details inc address following a small car accident. Gave me some story about the other guy putting in a claim for whiplash and said I could also claim. I told them ( after a fair few discussions) that I simply had no claim to make whatsoever. When I was put through to a "Senior Claims Manager" I told him the same. Caller claimed I had been in an accident - when I told her I ve never been in one in my life she went on to ask details of the accident had to hang up.
