Known scam 0845 and 0843 numbers call for a second or two. They rely on you to call back as the number looks official. You are then played a recorded message that is designed to keep you on the line as the call is charged at over a £1 per minute. So you end up paying for the scam and your phone company probably won't help as you made the call willingly.

SCAM - pretend to be calling to book me for a conference at ExCel London in November because I have previously attended it before using a Manchester local number. Started with the call will be recorded and they have called earlier this week with a different number. When asked how they got the number hung up the call.

SCAM, they promote and promise jobs in hospitality but they keep a virtual office fishing people to pay 600 GBP to pass security officer seminars in order to work with them.. as security. STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY.. you will only loose time and money

Automated voice said something about my Amazon prime account. As I don’t even have an Amazon account I believe this is a scam and have blocked the number.

SPAM - phoned claiming to be with Association of British Insurers regarding an accident I had then started asking for personal details. After hanging up I was called back 15+ times before blocking the number.

said his name was 'jai' or something similar sounding. asked if I do marketing then my ethnic background. said he needed help with google. Told him I don't deal with google, he claimed no available help at google. when I said I can't help with google and to contact them, he said only 'he can set his password'. Said I was being 'funny about it and told me I was weird'. blocked the number.

Said some letter was forwarded back to the sender and there will be some legal action taken against me. I have no idea what this is about

Claimed to be able to save me money on my mobile phone bill. Claimed originally to be from EE, but that isn't my provider, he then argued with me about my provider - he eventually hung up. I always keep them talking as much as possible to save the next poor victim.

i was called by this number with an automated bank message saying money had left my account, press one to stop this happening or two to speak to an advisor DO NOT PRESS ANYTHING my bank confirmed it is a scam

Received a text message that "Simon" tried to deliver my package, but no one was home, and to "reshedule" my delivery by accessing {OBVIOUSLY FAKE WEBSITE!} "postoffice-reshedule-depot.com". Incorrect spelling of reschedule not once but twice was the first warning it was a SCAM. Then looking at the full website address.......yeah....obviously fake, and a quick google search leads to a number of Phishing / Scam reports using this same web address. 100% confirmed scam.

Scam recorded message claiming a £900 charge on your Visa card (doesn’t mention your bank name)

Robot voice says this is visa calling, saying they have stopped my card due to a high volume of transactions to China.. Then tells me to select an option… I shut the call off at that point. A nasty fraud call.

Scam recording from my visa card Co advising 2 fraud transactions for big amts, called my card Co from no on bk of my card and no transactions have taken place, be careful all especially the elderly, try use a credit card at all times then transfer from Yr debit card to pay it, never take out he house Yr debit card, as bank don't always reimburse u for fraud, the credit card Co will if you have shown you took care reporting any suspicious activity and were careful with Yr details online. Claimed to be from EE and that they could reduce my phone bill. (I'm not with them on this number). As soon as I said that their number was flagged as potential spam they hung up
