And when we were having our tea, the house rang with this number and when we didn t answer it the mobile rang....this makes you think it is an urgent call???!!!! DO NOT GIVE ANY DETAILS! Incoming call. "This is HMRC. Fraud has been committed in your name. Press 1 to be connected. If you do not, you will be arrested shortly" or words to that effect. If you don't press 1, nothing happens and then you get cut off. This seems like a fraudsters way of weeding out the less gullible who will merely waste their time challenging their BS.

a company cold called me today offering me £2000 gauranteed in my account in 45 minuets..all i had to do is send them..£110..via a card i get from my local shop..what made things sound dodgy is he was ringing me back ten minuets later asking if i sent the money.i said no as i cant afford £110 pound so he said how much can i afford i said £90 & he agreed to take £90 ..i then thought this was a scam as a legitimate company wouldnt do that..as ive read on some threads this company is a scam....loans & finance
