This number sent text saying Royal Mail parcel was waiting for redelivery and that there was £1.99 to pay. There was a link below. I believe this is a scam text trying to get money, we are not expecting a parcel and even if we were, where would they get a mobile number from for someone who hasn't given Royal Mail their number?

25 Nov 2021 - Not an 02 or 03 number so are the scammers changing tactics. Couldn’t understand a word chap was saying so put phone down. After reading other comments it would appear to be the scam to white goods insurance cover. I had a similar call a couple of months ago from a guy called Martin (by his accent a long shot on this being his real name) Claiming to be from D&G about renewing insurance cover. SCAM Claimed to be a company called AST or Aftercare Support Team. Pretended to be a white goods insurer and offered reduced rate for reinsuring washing machine as policy was due to expire. We don't have insurance on our washing machine, so this was clearly a lie. They did specifically state our house name though, so have clearly collected some specific data about us before calling.
