Con artists! I am signed up to TIPS and if this was a legitimate company they would be following the code of practice set up. They do not follow the law. they use a recorded voice, therefore they are criminals. Another number for the call blocker.

keep calling to say about Microsoft. I ask which Officer they wish to speak to. which leads me to tell them they have called a police station and their call is possibly being recorded. They soon hang up.

Someone phoned me from this number speaking so fast I had no idea what she was saying and in frustration she put the phone down. Who the hell was it?

Keeps calling, mostly ignore but when I do answer they hang up ... annoying.

These people called me this afternoon, didn't leave a message. They seem to be searched for on this site by others; hence I've blocked them.

Asked for Mrs XXX, based on name in phonebook. Mrs XXX doesn t exist as I, Mr XXX s wife, have never used his surname and we ve used this number for 18 years. Claimed to be from a local building firm calling about our roof. We live in a block of flats. When I challenged caller about our number being registered with TPS he got angry and eventually hung up.

I have stopped answering these suspicious calls for the time being - too busy. As with the one I received at the same time yesterday, when I was having breakfast, I concluded the caller was another criminal trying to persuade me to give them access to my computer so they could infect it. That is because the majority of the calls I get are of that nature. The likelihood was all the greater because, like yesterday s call, it was purportedly from an area where I do not know anyone.

Solution to problem of this number is to attain Sync.ME on your smartphone when number calls again tell Sync.ME to BLOCK it. Company have called me from 0141 367 2893, 0845 286...

Calls from this number every day. 6 today so far. Hang up when answering machine trips in.

We ignored a call at 3am on Christmas Eve from this number - I have 3 young children (1 is only 5 months old) - I m fuming!!!!

Called claiming I needed to get my solicitor to call immediately. Didn t call but searched here so did nothing. HMRC won t call on such matters

Rude Asian man telling me about a problem with my computer. His supervisor called me back and asked why I had been rude to his staff. I told him that he was rude by saying that he would put a block on my computer and I would have to pay to get it working again. The 3rd call was just shouting at me in a foreign language. Calls 4 and 5 were silent but I could hear the same people in the background.

I received a call from this number just now. He said he was from a company called Technical Help Service and told me my computer had a virus. He tried to convince me using various methods including running the eventvwr (the errors listed there are not related to viruses!) This is identical to the well known Windows Technical Helpdesk scam. Once I told him as much, he rang off. I called the number back, and it is not recognised. This was an amateurish attempt at reproducing a tired and worn-out scam. Unfor

energy survey company ripping our taxed money off. Said telephone preference agency was a scam!!!Would not give me details of the company. Hung up.

We have been called from this number by somebody claiming to be from British Gas, about an outstanding invoice. As out invoices are regularly paid on time, this is a scam to try and get card details for payment.
