Tried to tell me that I need to get a new mortgage right now or I would end up in ?10,000+ worth of debt due to my current mortgage. Called up at 7pm. Told my life insurance was awful And how it wasn t the right one for me. After what can only be described as border line bullying I went to speak to one of there "qualified" advisors. Turned out it was some wise boy who tried to make me spend more than I was already paying for less cover. Complete waste of time I d avoid using them at all costs.
A recorded voice indicates an outstanding tax issue. Asking you to press 1 to be connected. Failure to do so will result in a warrant for your arrest (on the grounds of tax fraud) being issued. Her Majesty's Inspector of taxes would not phone if there was an issue. They would write to you. They know your address, but fraudsters and scammers like this do not. Do not press to accept the call. if you do they will know the number is in use an probably sell your number on to more scammers.

Getting repeted calls upto three times a day all trying to tell me im entitled to ppi. Ive been patient, silent, rude but nothing seems to deter these people. Really think they should stop wasting their money on repeatedly calling the same number to get the same answer. Think next time I answer the phone ill answer it as department of internal fraud and see if that makes a difference. Im ex directory and am still puzzeled as to how they know my name.
