SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access. I have missed a call from them too

Repeatedly called by Wills UK despite never having given permission and having told them not to call me ever again. When you call them on this number, you get a recording saying that they will call you back and press 1 to remove your number. It doesn t, and they call you over and over again.

The man with a distinctly foreign accent said that he was from a Broadband provider that uses the 4G network £25 a month for 18 months. But what put me off was as soon as he had finished his schpeel he asked without prompt for my bank details. I said I would get back to him next week when I had done some research into the company.
