Text Message claiming to be Evri about a failed parcel delivery. I’m not expecting a parcel.
I haven't answered as working, but don't know anybody from the Settle area.. and they've tried calling twice.

Safe number I received a missed call from this number but none of the 'who called me' websites had any comments and I wanted to know who had called. As the number is local to me, I took a chance and called them back, It's the Boots Opticians Appointment Booking Centre so it's quite safe. They have written to me several times as I'm due for my eye test but I just hadn't got around to making an appointment. I'm leaving this comment just to let other searchers know who called.

SCAM I believe A woman, sounding Indian, pretending to be from BT OpenReach about my internet quality We don't buy our internet from BT I suspect this was one of those "we have discovered traffic on your line caused by viruses and need to log in to your computer to fix it" scam calls. The call didn't get that far though. She hung up, probably realised that I knew what I was talking about.

I too have solar panels and I have had eight calls in the last week from a Chelmsford number. Its as good as a scam, pretending to have discount vouchers for work on your house to be more eco friendly. Very persistent and don't take no for an answer.

SCAM - I received an evident scam or fraud SMS text from this number on 30 June 2023, with a quite convincing message beginning “Morning mum”, and asking me to message back on another UK mobile number. Interestingly, RF President Putin was reported to be visting Dagestan [where this phone number originates?] yesterday.
The person on this number was trying to sell us domains that we already own. We asked them to send information via email, not surprising nothing arrived. Possible scam.

I answered the call once and it was silent for 3 seconds then ended. SCAM First I received a silent call from 028 8505 1239 (to verify a working number?) Then within 5 minutes, I started getting whatsapp messages from a very attractive female profile asking when I was going to visit her using the number 07727214429. Looks like a scam to me.

I was getting consistent calls from another number in the same area as this one which I blocked yesterday, and now today I’ve already had two calls from this number in the same area.
