Same hangup here, twice today. Same NHS response on calling back saying they would call later. I have an appointment next week in rheumatology and had called them earlier to see...

I have had at least 5 calls from this number in 2 days with reference to a tax refund I am supposed to pick up from the post office ...... Foreign sounding caller who knew my name claims to be calling from London. I gave up at that point.

Rang to say they were from a community safety awareness leaflet, and that I had agreed last october to renew an advert with the publication. (Which I am 99.9% certain I did not do). He then said he would get his head office to call me back with a tape recording of my agreement. I am still waiting for said head office to call me.

Hi , just got a phone call from this number please avoid , i was going to give them my card details although i donot prefer to give it by phone , he said he does not need the 3 digit numbers , just £ 2.78 to cover the post charges !! This number called me today and asked for me by name. Line was quiet for 3 seconds after I said hello and the person spoke sounded like a male with a funny voice so probably used some equipment to diguise their real voice to sound posh. After they said my name I replied "Cor you sound really posh how you doing?" Then they hung up. Would have kept call going longer but I had things to do so couldn t continue.

I phoned them back and asked to be taken off the list...they hung up. I called back and again repeated my request..just got a curt thank you...at least it was thank you. So rude...

Called and said they were "UK Insurance Group" regarding a recent minor collision. Told them that if they were genuine, they were misinformed, but that I suspected they were cold callers trying to scam me. When asked to give evidence of their identity, or details of when and where this collision supposedly took place, they hung up.
