Just received a call 17.25 13/July from a young lady called Shona, with a Lancashire accent. She began her pitch with "because we have been having a lot of bad weather"...

Called me today, I am expecting a call but from someone by a different name after my accident. Here we go I suppone, another 12 months of ambulance chasers:(

Said that they were from the Postcode Lottery claiming that I was a winner!

GOT THEIR NUMBER!! IF you want to call them through their parent company Plantec Holdings Ltd. on 0870 285505. It s taken lots of digging and loads of numbers that no longer exist (surprise, surprise), but you can check this by Googling Plantec Holdings Ltd and First Legal Support and it will be the top hit! Not that I would encourage everybody to call them up and complain, but how many of us have had calls? I ve also threatened to report them to OFCOM. Do not accept be bullied by nuisance calls!

They call if you have had an accident andsay they want to act on your behalf but will not tell you where they have got your details from. Whenu ask they hang up Such a rude and untrustworthy company - who will not disclose who they are or where they are based. Put the phone down on them if they call.

These people handle "deceased accounts" on behalf of Eon in UK. (I suspect they buy the debt). They also seem very interested in probate matters - perhaps they gain extra business this way. However - was pleasant call (got my number from Eon - I am Mum s executor), and they were not chasing payment just establishing status.

Apparently I ve been involved in a car accident that wasn t my fault, which is news to me. So naturally I decided to wind them up and be overly dramatic without ever answering a question properly. It worked like a treat and they hung up.

Just had a call from this number a few minutes ago. The lady introduced her company as Action Claims PRS. She wanted me to confirm that I had an accident within the last 15 days...

This is a Credit / Debit Card Protection Insurer number, cost me about 20 pence a minute, rang to cancel policy but had high call volume, so wrote by letter and last Direct Debit refunded.

Didn t pick up but they didn t leave me a message! This is a tps number. Don t want unknown callers rining

No idea who this is, and I don't live anywhere near the location they're calling from. Also couldn't find anything on them on google, I suspect this is a scam/sales call.

Says that it is from DPD and that they are sorry to have missed us!!

These guys are fishing to find out about your life insurance and financial situation, steer clear never give details to people calling you.

After a little research when they left a similar message to everyone elses reports saying they were DRD and to call them back. This seems to be them http://www.debtreleasedirect.co.uk They are a debt management company (rather than debt collection) and it is a sales call.
