Knew my name, said i had free entries to the lottery!! and are you still at "address" so had that information. However, when i told him i did not give out details he said "oh okay then" and his tone was less friendly and he hung up.
SCAM Call starts with an automated message telling you that there is an arrest warrant out for you for underpaid tax and tax fraud. Continued the call to confront whoever initiated the call, and it follows through to an Indian call centre purporting to be HMRC. Do not give any details to these scammers!

Automated call claiming to be from Amazon saying that a product i have not ordered will be sent and my card charged £750; press 1 if I have not ordered the product. Hung up (and did not press 1) - presumed fraud/ scam and/ or dangerous
When phoned back it was a company claiming that I had had a road traffic accident!
Silent call: Called at 14.12, only 14 minutes after the 3rd scam call I have received today, so I'm presuming this is also a scammer , trying to waste my time as I won’t speak to them! (Last 3 scam calls have claimed that I have ordered an iPhone 7)

This number called this morning and the recorded message must have started before the answerphone greeting had finished with the result that I only got a very small part of the message left. Paypal scam - posing as a Gumtree buyer . He/she will reply to anything you have for sale on gumtree. They send you a text but then ask you to reply to a moody email address. The one they gave me was [email?protected] and the number they used was +44 141 280 7229. Clearly foreign (poor use of English) and also clearly retarded - lack of understanding of gramma and spelling. Stay well away.

Calls are at least - being stopped by Call Guardian which is built into the phone. So, the phone rings once, the Guardian kicks in and asks for the caller s identity. However, since this has never been given (and any such call is then terminated by Guardian), we assume they coming from an automated system. We just wish the system would give up on us!
