Called at 8am on a Saturday morning and hung up when i answered. Checked number and listed as place in Wales.
01691 - 660971 This number is a SCAM!!! They called my landline at 8.49am (automated at first) pretending to be AMAZON to say I'm about to be charged £39.99 for my AMAZON PRIME subscription which i don't have and have never signed up for, but to cancel it i need to be on my device and they would talk me through it on-line. When i asked if is this was a SCAM she said 'What are you talking about' and put the phone down on me.

Telemarketing company acting on behalf of the RCNi (subsidiary of the Royal College of Nursing) - selling their products to customers. I had a call from this number the well spoken call handler had my name, email address, home address and membership number. Trying to sell me a product and asked for me my bank account number and sort code. Asked for me by name and said they were from Legal & General in regards to my life insurance policy and a possible reduction due to COVID. As soon as I said are you sure since I know I don't have a policy with them they just hung up.
Exactly as the Anon below. Have called every day this week asked to confirm business owner s name and if they could speak to them. When I asked what it was regarding he said he was from Blacks Brokers and it was about a letter they had sent him. No letters have been sent I open the mail. Scam artists.

I have received five missed calls from this number so far, in the last two days. The sixth was at 06:04pm, on the 17/01/2013. It was a woman, I never caught the companies name, but she was calling from Manchester. She knew all my details and was calling on the subject of repaying loans and debts.

Fraud - male caller claimed to be from credit card company MBNA. He claimed that there were unsual transaction on my credit card this morning. He hung up immediately when I said that I had cancelled the card.
