This number called our business line today. When I answered, a man asked to speak to the business owner. Something about his tone and wording instantly set off alarms that this was a cold sales call, as we receive hundreds of them and I ve grown used to the language they use. I asked who was calling. He gave his name, but no more, so I asked what company he was calling from. He instantly got very defensive and accused me of interrogating him. Used to show as telephone number withheld always tried to sell cavity wall insulation etc more recently using the 0844 number which of course is a premium rate number so don t call it back
