I was rang, and the caller was ringing about diesel claims. When I told him I wasn't interested and to remove me from the database, he shouted me down and asked me why I was interested. He continued to talk over me, saying he was working alongside the Dept of Transport and I should listen to him. NUMBER BLOCKED!

Very rude man with poor English trying to upgrade my new phone which did not exist! Apparently he had permission from Vodafone to call me with upgrades to this imaginary phone. I have never used Vodafone but he told me that he had taken calls from my current number arranging for the mystery new phone which was due to be delivered. I would imagine Vodafone would be very annoyed by this kind of cold call criminality.

Fraud A banking scam - purporting to be TSB and checking fraudulent transactions. Almost convinced us to give standing orders and direct debit details, and had confirmed a couple of transaction. Says he is from citizens advice bureau and asked me if I owe a lot of debt. They mentioned that they had some paperwork about me and that I have debts which I owe. Sounded suspicious so I said No I don’t owe anything and then they said goodbye and hung up. I think it’s s scam to be honest.

This is a Life Insurance cold call claiming to be reviewing your life insurance policy. My policy is not under review so I terminated the call.
This number rang on 09/03/23. When I answered, the call just ended. This number rang again on 10/03/23. The caller had a South Asian accent, knew my name and enquired about the car accident I'd had. I responded that this would be the car accident I hadn't had and told him to stop wasting my time. There was a fairly insincere 'apology' that he'd been given the incorrect details.
