Asked for a person who was unknown to me. No idea who they were. Had a number of smilar phone number calls today but this was the first one I had answered.

Automated call from bt regarding internet banking compromised. Advised To press 1. I put the phone down as not with bt.

In return, the sender offers a commission, usually in the range of several million dollars. The scammers then request that money be sent to pay for some of the costs associated with the transfer. Once money is sent to the scammers, they will either disappear immediately or try to get more money with claims of continued problems with the transfer.

Guy called Sam from Electronic Safety Team doing a survey about my TV and Washing Machine. Told him I don t do surveys and he hung up.

Fraud suspected,claims to be Virgin Media, did not try to verify any personal details or account details. Wants the IP address that they are supplying to me, at which point I ended call. Originally I contacted them from a referal from my sister as they contacted her about a video games tester job which applied more to me. They called me back within 20mins which was strange and then never let up. I thought they were sketchy from the start o talking to them, again some indian guy with bad connection, and would call 3-4 times day plus sending emails about his job offer, I didnt know anything about them apart from some company name so I searched it and found this!!

Two calls one in May and one recently. First asked for me by name then threatened to "get me". Second asked for me by name again and called me "a paedophile basta...

Just got a call from this number. They asked for me by name and then asked me to confirm my washing machine brand. When I said I was not sure they hung up. I am sure they just want to check if the number is real before they sell it on or bombard me with other unwanted calls. They obviously did not check on the preferences list which I have contacted to make sure that these calls do not happen. Waste of time.

Someone calling from CAMHS which is child and adolescent mental health services. I told her I didn t have anyone at my address below the age of 18 and she must have the wrong number. To which she informed me if she had my number I did! Unfortunately for her I work for YOT and with CAMHS so sent her on her merry way. Very odd and I will be checking this out.?

Accidentally answered this. Recorded msg supposedly HMO threating a warrant being issued! I had to click on 1 to be put through to the office. Needless to say I hung up!!
