Weird phone call. Called me up on Skype and all you you hear is a voice saying "please hold the line". Call the number back and it instantly gives you the error tone.

After all the complaints, it beggars belief that these scammers are still using the same phone number and not been arrested. We are a computer repair business and have 2 telephone lines. Got a call on line 1 from the scammer (Asian male) who announce that my computer had problems!!! He was told in no uncertain terms to do something rather harmful to himself. Called me 3 times in a row despite me hanging up. I've no dealings up north so no reason for them to be calling me.

I was asked about my pension history and whether I had a PIP. If I did the government have announced that I should be able to reclaim over-charging, particularly if my pension pot was more than £10,000. I asked for details of their website and she gave me theirs where there is no reference to this. Also mention gov.co.uk (which is obviously gov.uk) and I can find no reference to what she said. Also nothing on Moneysaving Expert, my go-to place for this type of thing.

Nuisance calls indian callers, rude and time wasters.

Just rang my house phone. I let it ring and ring. Who is using my local dialling code. ??? Glad I didn't answer

09 Dec 2021 - Has called 3 days in a row, not sure if its robotic or a person but after I say hello there is silence and they put the phone down. I suspect they are testing numbers to see who answers then possibly sell this data on to other spam callers. Don't bother answering, block number if you can. Reply

asking about my accident at work that i never had. hung up when i asked for more details to report them.

This number has been calling my mobile at all hours of the day and night, always terminating the call as soon as I answer. Had to change my number to avoid this pest.

Supposedly from Microsoft. There was a problem with my hardware/software. They wanted me to turn on my computer and talk them through what was on the screen. Obviously a scam, not sure if it was for money or data, but I continued talking to them without giving any details until I had found my school whistle and then blew it down the phone (loudly) at them. I work in a large infants school, I have a good pair of lungs :-)

The number belongs to TCV, a company which provides training for jobseekers on behalf of the job centre.
