Picked up the call and got a pre-recorded message from an American sounding female voice informing me that I had placed an order with AMAZON for gift cards to the value of £700. If I wished to question or check it to dial 1 or 2. This is clearly a SCAM after my banking details as I have not purchased anything from Amazon. I therefore class this call to my landline as DANGEROUS

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1157622xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with life insurance, road accident chasers, PPI, insurance claims. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

Two calls in one day. checked on this site this morning and 'not rated' made me me think perhaps it was legit. Not so, it's of those callers reminding you about your accident; I haven't been hurt in an accident since I grazed my knees as a kid!
