Automated phone call telling me that there was unusual internet activity on my internet connection and I was about to be disconnected. To Press 1 to speak to an advisor, This comes on a day when my internet provider had informed me that they would be doing service upgrades in the area.
I don t have any policies, this is a pest call. I had a call two days ago from a woman claiming to be from the MORI poll, tried to get me to sign up to EDF and give out information on what insurance policies I have. Suspect they are linked. Another one for the blocked number list!

TAXES / HMRC States that an arrest warrant has been issued in your name due to avoidance of taxes etc.. I believe this to be a scam call, which I am totally sick to the back teeth of. Number has been blocked on several occasions but somehow manages to get back through.

SCAM I leave my answerphone on permanently for call screening. This number called this morning and the recorded message must have started before the answerphone greeting had finished with the result that I only got a very small part of the message left. Possible that very sophisticated software being used - have had a previous call from 'Chris' on a different number and another call this morning from 'Chris' on a further number linked to Edinburgh.
