Number shown was a 01189 local number so i picked it up. No answer and the it hung up. Dialed 01471 to retieve number but, it actually was 018731006? meaning this was a scam caller.

He told me the usual nonsense about my computer but I told him that I was not interested as I had got rid of my computer because of these scam phone calls. Telemarketing SCAM Claimed to be from the Solar Advice Centre based in Dorset. A Leeds number and a dissolved company in Bolton. I don't think so
Received call, recorded message, pertaining to be HMRC asking me to press a number to talk to them about incorrect tax return. I believe this to be fraudulent and that HMRC would not make contact in this manner.
Rings then hangs up. Treat as potentially dangerous, no place associated with the number.
