AMAZON Authentic-sounding, recorded woman's voice claimed to be from "Amazon" advising that membership fee had been deducted from my account and gave me two options to press for follow up. Sounded suspicious so I just hung up. I called 0471 which gave me the number recorded here and then said: "Please hang up".

Claimed to be from Microsoft - reporting issues with my computer. Wanted me to type 'event' into the search box in order to repair issues.
Unknown caller ringing a TPS registered domestic telephone number. No message left on answerphone so presumably an illicit sales call, a scammer or another 'survey'.

Call centre noise in background. Caller asked for "Mr or Mrs *my surname*" I asked who's calling, she said they're caling about the Health & Safety check for the loft insulation. Complete fiction. I told them they had the wrong number and to remove it from their system. Obvious data phishing scam.

We have been called from this number by somebody claiming to be from British Gas, about an outstanding invoice. As out invoices are regularly paid on time, this is a scam to try and get card details for payment.

This company ring every day on a different number as I keep blocking them all. Had a quote for windows last year, apparently was a local company! SCAM Someone called “David” called trying to sell me a mobile phone contract. iPhone 13 pro max, 24 months with unlimited data, minutes and texts. For £40 a month. When enquired, came up with nonsense which made no sense. Asked for network provider, my name, and starting asking family names. Of course gave fake names and realised I knew they were scammers.
