As everybody else said, an indian man called with lots of background noise claiming to be from Talktalk. He said there was a problem with the internet running slowly. Had I noticed this? I just had a call from this number too, claiming to be "D M Experts". The person he asked to speak to, Ben , does not exist on my number or at my address and I have been plagued with calls lately from some company claiming to be something to do with the Office of Fair Trading, who also always asks for Ben , but they have the sense to block their number. The bogus OFT calls are nearly always a barely audible Indian voice, and this call today from "D M Experts" was similar, so wouldn t be surprised if
I ve had several calls from this number, but each time I ve not answered. As with other comments, I believe that this number is associated with a PPI claims company. Finally, I have to say that they are extremely persistent!!!

I'm registered with TPS so should not be getting these calls plus automated calls are banned under GDPR unless the householder has specifically agreed.
