Scam, she/he tries to buy second-hand items sending false bank account transfer emails and saying that you need to ship the item in order to unlock the transfer.
Automated call saying it was visa security ringing about 2 payments on a card. Saying press a button to speak to an advisor. Not a genuine call

They called me in Greece and told me they re from Microsoft, although I don’t own a MS pc. Only a MacBook pro. At least he was polite enough to say it was mistake. Forgiven my amateur Hacker friend ????

This was the first call from Hardy Evans Ltd. I got a name by trying to call back the number 01792764634 as I assumed that it might have been from one of job agancies. Wrong move. I hope thay will not start calling me everyday now. Is it there anyway to find out who is calling and what the purpose of those phone calls? thanks P

Male caller rang from this number at lunchtime today. A bit of a waffle introduction, but eventually got round to the subject - an invitation to a free financial seminar (apparently people are really interested in it because of low interest rates). But he declined any request to put his information pack in the post to me. Pretty sure its a scam that should be avoided.

Just had this number call - but I never pick up the phone. Worst thing you can do, as it confirms to the other end yours is a proper phone number which will be sold on to every piece of scum in the known universe. My advice, which works a treat: tell all your real contacts to call you for the first 4 or 5 beeps, then to put the phone down. SCAM by recorded voice saying they were HM Revenue & Customs and a tax fraud had been reported. Say to press 1 to discuss with the officer. If I didn’t press a number to be connected I woukd soon be arrested. Obviously pressing any key will incur huge charges or they will try to get you to give personal information etc. My number is really private so I wonder just who sold it to these scammers?

Text message received from Sants fraud asking me if I had made a pmt of 33458.64 to a Ali Afza? if not to call fraud on the number and not to reply by text. Luckily I worked for Santander so knew it was a scam but it is very convincing.
