Claimed to be from reputable finance institution with loud dance music playing in the background, wanted to make sure I got back money I had invested, some nonsense about block-chain, called him out as a fraud and he said the music was because it was Friday afternoon! Utter BS! He started talking nonsense and generally being cheeky so I asked him to remove my number from his database, advised he would, asked if the music was loud enough for me etc, told him call wasn't costing me anything, he hung up, CLOWN

These people keep phoning claiming they are the support for my internet providers. How do I get rid of them? I ask them which IP since I have 3, one of which is a bank, and I have 3 modems in my house. That normally makes them swear at me and hang up. The other method is to ask them which IP they are calling about, and when they say one, true or not, I say that the account is set up with a security word and they must confirm that before I can talk to them. They swear and hang up. They are always from India,

SCAM Caller said they were from Amazon and that I would have a high payment charged monthly (£79.99) unless cancelled and the caller was going to "help me" cancel my Amazon Prime subscription. After some arguing (as she tried to get me to stay on the line), I hung up and checked Amazon website going through their online chatbot. This company uses Voxbone SA (now called bandwidth) services to route calls from scammers. this is just one of many telephone numbers i have had call me trying to scam me and i receive up to six per day for the past few weeks. At the beginning I politely told them that i was not interested requesting them to take my number off their call list and now its straight FO. Sorry for generalising it but it usually an Asian woman or man.

Fraud: Pretending to be talk-talk again to 'help me' with my internet. I pushed them to verify who they were and telling me just one digit from my account number

Advised my National Insurance details were compromised and to press '1' to avoid legal action taken against me.

Big fat scam from HMRC. Could tell it was a scam because I have no money and I’m a child

Gentleman with a northern accent claiming to be our towns child safety officer Telling us how we'd signed up to a child safety booklet to go to our local schools. As he couldn't pronounce the names of the schools correctly that didn't really help his cause Told him we'd never spoken before to which he quickly replied "ah right ok leave it with me" and then promptly hung up

SCAM Ignored and went to voicemail. Robot voice message. Claims to be from HMRC "If we do not hear from your or your solicitor, you will face legal action. Please take this seriously."

Recorded female indian message saying my ip address had been compromised and to press 1 on my phone to report to a BT technician. I believe it to be a phishing scam, and pressed nothing and hung up the phone.

claiming to be Carphone warehouse offering a super iPhone deal. she rang off when i asked why she was calling my TPS listed number. suspect scam as number seems to registered to Trafalgar Square, London.
