A scam. Supposed to be amazon with account query
Said they were BT. Lots of background noise so I challenged with "sounds very noisy for BT". Said that I used to be a BT customer and they wanted to offer me deals to welcome me back. I asked when their records indicated I was a BT customer (they didn t know). They asked about my package. I told them Virgin TV/phone/internet and they kept upping my speed of internet. They said "You re on fibre optic then?" I confirmed I was happy with Virgin so the call ended.
SPAM called and stayed that my national insurance number was being suspended due to criminal/suspicious activity. Never heard such nonsense

NEVER call an unknown number back as you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will cause a large charge to be added to your bill.
