I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. Called at 10.00 in the morning. When I answered I heard a man humming for several seconds then the line went dead.
This number calls me at least once a day and although I never answer, it has become a total pain in the a*se. Therefore my recommendation is to ignore it.
